Walking a dog in the Puy L'Eveque vicinity

We have recently had a holiday with our dog in Puy L'Eveque but struggled to find what the English would call good, long dog walks in the area. Does anybody know if such a thing exists?

There are randonnees and grand randonnees (marked hiking trails) everywhere in France -- nearly every office of tourism will have the local ones on hand.

I don't know of any trails specifically for dog walkers-- dogs are welcome nearly anywhere their two-legged families go...although a leash and a bag to pick up after your pooch are at minimum a courtesy, and a law in many places.
