The Sands is a quiet hotel, the clientele being mainly couples and honeymooners and they cater very well for these.

There are sporting activities, tennis, table tennis, petanque and beach volley ball, plus water sports. It all depends on how your teenages like to be occupied. Evening entertainment is very low key and aimed at older guests.

You have posted this on the Grand Gaube forum, the Sands is located at Wolmar near to Flic en Flac on the west coast. You might be better off looking at hotels in the north near to Grand Baie.

Best wishes

The Sands is very good hotel. If you want some liveliness and maybe for your kids to be able to travel on their own steam, then being in or around Grand Baie could be a good idea. There are bus routes that take you to nearby beaches and Port Louis.
