Just back from El Quseir, the Flamenco Beach & Resort diving with the Pharaoh Dive Club and it was relatively busy. The weather for the first few days was still hot during the day 32 - 33C then cooling off quite nicely in the evenings, sea temp. 29 - 30C. The wind was out very strong in the mornings, best diving was done after 3 pm when the sea calmed down and underwater visibility was good.
Seen lots of fish one giant Turtle in Abu Hamra, an enormous Malabar Grouper the size of a bicycle at Abu Sauatir , watching a king size Parrot fish banging against the coral with a vengeance until it broke to pieces, unbelievable .
Downtown Quseir was less busy with cars, lots of mini-buses queueing for gasoline not seen this before. Bought a hat at the bazar for 25 LE and had a hair cut with all the imaginable extras at a local hairdresser for 40 LE. Took a mini-bus taxi back to the hotel, the driver tried to start the engine by shorting the wires and when he didn't succeed he called for help and a couple a guys pushed until we got going, fare 10 LE.
