Dog friendly restaurant

We are staying at Red Roof Inn in Utica and traveling with our golden retriever. Is there a restaurant with outside seating where we could have dinner and then breakfast on the following morning. Two different restaurants would be fine.

Other than the typical fast-food outlets with patio tables..none really, that will welcome your pooch, New York State health dept is quite strict about bare feet, no shirt, and no pets in dining establishments.

Both Delmonico's and Babe's Macaroni Grill, within 3minutes of your Motel, have outdoor space, as does the excellent Aqua Vino, almost across the street from the Red Roof..you may want to call them for their dog policy..have fun!

Thanks very much for your assistance. By chance would there be a bar which has outdoor seating which would allow our dog.

You're honestly better off getting takeout and finding picnic area somewhere. If it were a tiny pooch, I think it would be easier. Having a dog around food can cause people angst and the larger the dog , the more noticeable it is. They have rules and restaurants aren't big on running afoul of the health department.
