Moving To Eastwood in May

Hello,

My wife and I just rented a place on N. Midler near James Street amd would like any recommendations for restaurants in the area and basically anything going on in Eastwood that's cool to do. How about nightlife in Eastwood. Is there any? Or is it mostly in Armory Square. Thanks in advance for any replies.

There is a good cafe (The Palace) that is next to the movie theatre of the same name on James Street. I've only been for lunch; not sure if they serve dinner. There are a couple of good bookstores (Book's End, Books and Memories) along this main drag as well. There are a some good restaurants (Gentile's, Angotti's, Dominick's) on Burnet Ave.

One of my favorite restaurants is Casa di Copani on Burnet.

Also Julie's on James Street use to be terrific but I'm not sure if it is still open.

I hear good things about Steak and Sundae, but I think they moved to Lyncourt?
