Metro North train to NYC

I would like to leave my car for about 4 days in one of the towns where the metro north stops in order to take the metro into NYC. Is there any place that is safe near a train station ?

The post just before yours addressed the same question. Here is the link to the parking at Poughkeepsie.

Every stop that I know of on the Metro North lines has parking. I can not speak to just how safe they are.

I haven't heard of any issues of leaving cars at the train stations. Poughhkeepsie might be your best bet since there is a bit of activity in that area, so less likely for anything to happen. I've left my car for weekends at Poughkeepsie, New Hamburg, and Beacon without problems before.
