Graduation Party

I am looking for thoughts on someplace to hold a luncheon or dinner after may daughter's PSU's Graduation, Saturday, May 16. We have been there many times over the last three years, but many of the places we have seen do not appear to have room for larger groups - we may be looking at 14.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks - Karen

Congratulations!

I graduated from Plattsburgh many years ago. I'm sure there are many restaurants that have come and gone (too bad the Royal Savage is no longer). Have you considered the Butcher Block?

How about Koto? It is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is delish, drinks are yummy and it is great fun w/ a bunch of people. They have a party room that will more than accommodate 14 people. The Plattsburgh restaurant doesn't have a website, however the Burlington VT one does and it is basically the same. http://kotovt.com/index.htm The number for Plattsburgh is (518) 563-5200‎.

If that doesn't suit you, there is the Ground Round. http://www.groundround.com/home/ (518)561-2897 They have a room in the back for parties.

The prior suggestion of the Butcher Block is also a good choice. They also have a room, however it may be a little crowded with 14 people. http://www.butcherblockrestaurant.com/ (518) 563-0920

Where ever you end up choosing, I wouldn't wait too long to make a reservation. Graduation weekend is notoriously busy and you may find it hard to get a reservation anywhere.

Have fun and Congrats to your daughter! :)

I hear what you are saying about Graduation weekend being so busy. I have been working on this awhile, but just recently found this site & thought I'd try it out. I need to make a final decision soon!!

Thank you for the Congrats for my daughter! I am soooo very proud of her!!!!! She has worked her tail off to get where she is and want this to be a super special day for her............she's doing to be a Nurse - a really good one, but of course I'm prejudice!!

Many Thanks again, Cammie & especially when you don't even know me!
