There is a luggage storage area just inside the entry ramp but it's not 100% secured, so if you are nervous about leaving your stuff belowdecks you'll have to carry it with you upstairs. At the very least you can keep your valuables with you and stash the rest.
Thanks! Would you recommend getting a room? We are a group of 6 ladies planning an taking the 1:25 am night ferry in September. None of us have ever traveled to Greece and we are very excited about this trip, but have lots of questions.
Renting sleeping cabins would solve your luggage secruity concerns and give you a chance to sleep in peace and quiet, that's for sure, but I'm wondering where you're getting your schedule information. The only overnight ferry in September I'm able to find is Mondays only, the Lane Lines' VITSENTZOS KORNAROS, departing Piraeus at 9pm, arriving at Santorini around 9am the next morning, but even that schedule has yet to be officially approved.
The OP means the Bluestar ferry at 01:25 Tue, Thur, Sat.
There are luggage racks around the seating lounges on the ferry which is my preference over the racks downstairs near the vehicle garage. That's why I use a backpack easier to go through the ferry.
Whether you book a cabin, or aircraft seats in the lounges is up to you. With a group of 6 you could just have a mix of both maybe like booking a 4 berth cabin and 2 seats.
I'm happy to slouch on an aircraft seat.
Yes, I now realize that I had it backwards! GmaLibby, sorry if I confused you.
