We stayed there during the summer of 2003 and loved it! It is a bit more than other places but well worth it. We were in a cabin along the side by a stream that fed into the lake. We could see the mini ha ha steam boat pass by from the front porch. It had a small outdoor pool and some activities by the "beach" on the lake. We went to a bonfire, marshmellow roast on evening. The grounds were nicely landscaped. There is a shuttle type bus that goes to different tourist locations and stops on the main road by the entrance. There was also a restaurant on site.

We rented from the resort directly. This is a timeshare property. There is no maid service and you were expected to clean up the cabin when you vacated. If you have specific questions, let me know and I'll see if my memory holds up!

Probably the nicest place to stay on the Lake. It is not cheap, but there is plenty to do and the accommodations are first rate. It is a timeshare resort so most of the summer crowd is made up of owners. There is a pool, a jungle gym, a small game room and obviously the lake (although the water is a bit cool). There are also many attractions nearby in LG Village.

There is a full kitchen in each lodge, so you can save some $$$ by eating in if you are so inclined. There are also numerous dining out options. If money is not a problem, this is highly recommended and worth the price.
