Can't decide which hotel near JFK

I've checked reviews on every hotel near JFK. I'll arrive 11:35pm from an International Flight so expect to get through immigration/customs perhaps in an hour. That will make it 12:30am and I have a flight at 9:00am.

I just need a hotel easy to get to (guess you no matter which hotel you choose you have to take the skytrain to get to the hotel shuttles) so I can grab a few hours rest (note I didn't say sleep - it's never easy when you have little time before your next journey).

I don't need a restaurant near by, and probably will catch breakfast at the airport.

Anyone have preferences for this quick rest stop? Hampton, Holiday Inn, ???

We stayed at the Hilton garden inn at JFK. We thought it was great.. Mindst you after the dump we were booked into that smelt like cat pee anywhere would have been good. Actually we would stay there again if we needed to stay by the airport.
