Best route to Mana Pools with stopovers

We will be travelling to Mana Pools mid-September from the Nelspruit area. It has been recommended that we follow the route from Beitbridge to Gweru, Kwekwe, Chigutu, Chinoy, Karoi and then Mana Pools. Does anyone have any advice on this and where would be a good stopover point en route. Thanks, Laurie Rogers

Hi Laurie - l have checked again and it is about 39 km more to travel through Harare-and l think it is a good choice by Tony to stop over at Antelope Park .Enjoy and hope to see you there. We will be traveling on the 20 September arriving 21 or 22 at Mana Pools staying at Nyamepi Camp from there we will be traveling to Gonarezhou National Park for 28 and 29 September . Thanks Venetia - think we have pretty much sorted our route out now, so now we just need to brave Beitbridge border. Have had such varied reports of what and what not to do, so will just take it as it comes. Good luck on your travels. We are at Mana from 16th to 22nd so maybe we see you there.

Hi, my name is Trust Ndlovu, a professional guide, based in Nelspruit.

I do conduct trails to Mana Pools sometimes and depending on time at your disposal if you add an extra 2 - 3 days, it can be worth your while going via Pafuri into Limpopo National park, then into Gonarezhou, (Chilojo cliffs; excellent) then you do Masvingo up as a way of avoiding Beitbridge.

My number is 074 374 6404. email: trust@ps4u2.net
