Driving by car from Victoria Falls to Chobe

I will be traveling in July to the Victoria Falls and to the Okavango Delta. I was thinking of making an intermediary stop in the Chobe National Park or alernatively in the Linyanti Wildlife Reserve. And I was thinking of driving down there by car (starting from Vic Falls). Does anybody have experience with this? Is it safe? Is it feasible?

The transit route bypasses Moremi to the East. Basically runs North towards Savute. Best thing to do is get the Botswana Tracks4Africa map downloaded to your computer. http://www.t4a.co.za/t4a_gps_maps.asp

Or have a look at their paper map that is used in conjunction with the gps map.

The drive from Khwai River area to Kasane will probably take you all day. Around 10 hours. Mostly because you haven't driven it before.
