Dinner in Seminyak

Hi,

We will be staying in Semara Resort and Spa, Seminyak for 3 nights. We (4 Adults, 2 Seniors and 3 kids under 4 years old) will be at the hotel for 2 dinners. Just wondering whether there are any good restaurants nearby within walking distance from the resort to go for dinner? Or we must take transport (as you see, i don't think we can walk very far with 2 seniors and 3 very young kids)? If we need to take transport, is it easy to get cabs?

Thanks!

Very easy to grab taxis. You have many dining options in Seminyak.

Is there anything specific taste bud wise, price wise?

Hi Kite

Biku is almost across the road from the Semara and you are really only a short walking distance from many other terrific restaurants, eg, Petitenget, which is great as well. It is also extremely easy to get a taxi to go elsewhere but you really won't have to as there are quite a few at your doorstep.

Cheers

Thank you! Now I feel better, at least there is no need to book transport in advance just to eat dinner!

I heard reviews that Warung Eropa had great crispy duck and is very keen to try, is it near the resort? Can walk there?

Hi Kite

Yes, you can walk to Warung Eropa but it may take you about 10-15 minutes. It would be about 2 minutes if you prefer to catch a taxi at your front door. You just turn left out of the Semara and head up the road and after a few twists and turns you will find it on your left.

Cheers

Hi

Just re read your original post. You would be much better to take a taxi with the children as it is not an easy walk- no footpaths.

Cheers
