Memorable lunch options - preferably child friendly

We'd like to have a really nice lunch for our last weekend in Bali. We will be meeting up with friends who have really only done the Kuta thing and I'd like to take them to somewhere memorable with good food for the adults and a bit of a wow factor about the place. We will have 7 kids between us (aged 17-1) so it would be nice to have somwthing to see or do there. We will be going for drinks at Potato Head afterwards.

I've made a list of places which have got great reviews but am not sure which one to narrow it down to. Pricewise we would prefer something mid range or higher, but not top dollar. Definitely dont want a hambugers and chips kind of place. We all love seafood.

My shortist (based on reviews) includes: Jemme, Sardine, Sarong etc; but we're open to suggestion.

What about Chez Gado Gado? Beautiful food, elegant, but also casual by day surrounds. On the beach so the views are amazing and the older kids could go down onto the beach if they needeed to expend some energy. Not too far for transport back to Potato Head.

Also La Lucciola's - it also has great food and atmosphere and will have that casual elegance I think you are after for day time. It is much closer to Potato Head for you drinks after.

I don't think sarong is too (younger) kid friendly although I might be wrong :)

I would probably not suggest Jemme, lots of crystal, chandeliers & fancy furniture & nowhere for younger kids to explore.

I would suggest Warisan, the original. It is spacious so good for the kids, the food is wonderful and a good price for 5* cuisine.

I would go La Lucciola as well, something for everyone, great views, the kids can head out on to the lawn ... and close to Potato Head. Definitely somewhere on the beach!

Why not try something local and go to Bale Udang.

You can have a large Bale around the pond, the kids can feed the fishes. Could be good fun.

Eggumwest, you read my mind about Gado Gado. Have you been lately? Was considering another visit next month if the quality is still good.
