Bali Agung Village

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Overall it was great, good beds, clean rooms, lovely pool, beautiful gardens and terrific friendly staff. Unfortunately our stay was blighted by the activities of some other hotel guests. There were a number of single middle aged men staying at the hotel who had clearly purchased the services of young balinese males. Each morning (to our disgust) they walked their 'guests' out and each evening escorted their latest 'guests' through the grounds to their accommodations. While I am not a prude or homophobic we found the behaviour of these other guests to be quite predatory and in short revolting. I'm not sure if we stayed at a 'bad' time or if this hotel is a haunt for dubious characters however as a result I caution families with children who might be considering this hotel. Its a pity that such a lovely hotel is being tarnished by the behaviour of some unsavoury people because the location and facilities are otherwise terrific.

I'm sorry your trip was spoiled somewhat, by these activities. I can certainly understand your misgivings for families. It does sound unusual that the hotel management would allow this behaviour to be so blatant.
