Cape may arcade vs. family fun arcade in cape may,no

Can you tell me how far they are from one another, do they have the same games and which beaches they are near . Will it entertain an 8 and 12 year old? I would like to go to cove beach for shells -are either of these near" the cove"?

These arcades are about a three minute walk apart. One is a little bigger than the other.

The cove is at the southern end of the promenade...distance is probably a little less than a mile.

One of my favorite Cape May research tools;

http://www.resortgraphicsllc.com/cape-may/

If you click on the Central link, the cluster of buildings on the beach side is one of the arcades ... the greyish building to the left is the other.

At the very tip of the West End is the Cove (unfortunately not in the picture) - but if you look at the main picture, the Cove is where the beach juts out in to the ocean.

The arcades are owned by the same people. The children will love them. Also they have free movies on the beach on Thursday nights until Labor Day, great family fun for your children. Bring your own snacks and beach chairs.

The cove is okay for shells, the opposite end (Poverty Beach) is better.

One Arcade is at Decteur Beach and the other is at Stockon . They are about 4-5 short blocks away from each other. The trouble with shell collection in Cape May...they clean the beaches. If you go to any beach while the tide is going out you have a better chance of finding rocks, sea glass and shells. If you have a car and drive down to Sunset Beach you can collect lots of rocks including Cape May Diamonds and there is a miniture golf course there for the kids..

The arcades have skeeball and various arcade games and are in the center of the beach district.

I second the recommendation to visit Sunset Beach. Click on the above link for some info.

The store sells polished Cape May Diamonds and can provide info on how to spot them on the beach. Of course, they won't shine like the ones in the store.
