July 4th Fireworks at Hampton Beach

Hi,

I am planning to be at the Hampton Beach for the July 4th Fireworks. At what time I need to get in there to get parking (and avoid higher parking fees) and how difficult will it be to get out after the event? Is it like I need to be in the car for 1-2 hours to get to I-95?

Any advise or suggestions are welcome since this is first fireworks at the Hampton Beach.

Thank you.

I'm curious if they're doing fireworks on the 4th or the night before.......

Hi Darlene, you would have been better starting your own thread, rather than tagging on to this old one.

http://www.hamptonbeach.org/events/fireworks/ shows fireworks on the 4th.

If you're coming from the south, route 1A north (Ocean Blvd) will be slow going all day, and southbound is never good either (it's a block over from Ocean Blvd), but a better bet to park at any of the lots.
