Valentines Day ideas?

My husband and I are in our 20's and will be in Reno over Valentines day this year. Any idea of fun things or do or a nice, but not to expensive place to eat?

I was in Reno over the weekend, and the nightlife is at the El Dorado Hotel.

Beaujalais Bistro - $39 gets you a prix fixed menu nearby, but if want to dine in casino, Roxy's at El Dorado is good where we went over Thanksgiving holiday.

Had the steak & lobster also at Cafe Sedona last weekend. Steak was average (maybe below average), but came with lots of vegetables so was happy about that. Will ask for 2 lobster tails next time, like they always offered on menu in past - only $19.99.

Also like Siena Hotel, and they have nice all-you-can eat Sushi bar place for $24. Tried it last weekend, and was very good, but they did not rush out cup of miso & cup of tea like am used to at most sushi places.

We always stay Tuscany Towers - Peppermill these days (stayed every hotel casino in Reno). Most romantic place at Peppermill is Romanza, and they had good food. We pay with comps, but menu pricier there than your ElDorado options. Oceano restaurant also good if like Oysters, but brightly lit, cute theming though. Make sure you make reservations as soon as you decide.

If you guys are drinkers you can check out the annual Vampire pub crawl, a fun play on the idea that Valentines Day "sucks".

The Bruka Theatre is showing "In the Next Room" (aka The Vibrator Play), a funny and adult play through February 18th.

For dining I was also going to suggest the Beaujalais Bistro. It's in the Riverwalk District which is a nice place to stroll and has many other dining and drinking options.

Halfpipe Competition at Northstar

The Sienna is hosting a formal; Valentines Day dinner/dance...sounds like fun:

The Benise show at Eldorado looks pretty nice. The theater itself is a wonderful venue.

I always check what is on exhibit at Nevada Museum of Arthttp://www.nevadaart.org/

and the National Auto Museum

Most of the larger casinos have a very upscale restaurant, and then some less expensive alternatives. I've enjoyed some of the previously mentioned restaurants. I've also enjoyed:

Brew Brothers, ElDorado

Harrahs Steakhouse

Sterlings Steakhouse, Silver Legacy

Wild River Grille, on the Riverwalk

Bimini and Biscottis', Peppermill

Atlantis Steakhouse is fun, entertaining, very well staffed and presented. A bit on the pricey side, but not hugely so.
