I was staying at River Palms when sale was announced.

As reported on "The Morning Show" on KLBC....

River Palms Casino has been sold to M1 Gaming LLC owners of Boomtown Casino in Reno for $7 Million... pending approval by Nevada Gaming Commission.... Transfer of ownership will happen in the fall.... New Owners plan to spend "Significant amounts of money" improving the property.

Book NOW.... as the low rates at the River Palms will not last much past the renovation.

ALL River Palms employees I discussed the sale with were VERY EXCITED about new ownership!

We agree, the employees seem very happy about the sale.

Do you expect the low rates to jump significantly? How low are they?

We do know some people "live" long term at the River Palms.

Although we have stayed at most of the other hotels in Laughlin, we have been staying at the River Palms only for about 3-5 times a year. I hope they don't increase the rates to much, especially for their long term customers who have stuck with them even through the low times. The recession is not over for us and we still need a good clean inexpensive place to go.
