Version 2 - - Narrowing down Hotels for Feb 19th (2 nights).

My apologies for my last 'incomplete comment'.....had some little kid hands come in and ...well...anyway.... my question is....

Out of the following, which of the following locations would you choose with your significant other for a 2 night stay Feb 19th to Feb 21?

**Please note, this is my list and it most likely has holes. So please, no need to have..depends on this, or depends on that. As the selection is a bit overwhelming, I'm just trying to narrow my own list down. Thanks.

- The Palazzo

- The Cosmopolitan Of Las Vegas

- Aria Resort and Casino

- MGM Grand

- Mandalay Bay

What is your age range, budget and what do you like to do? Gamble, nightlife, etc. Is this your first visit to Las Vegas?

Here are some rates on your dates per night before resort fees and taxes:

Elara $251

Trump 149

Venetian 274

Palazzo 269

Wynn 224

Bellago 282

Aria 264

Vdara 224

MGM 188 (avoid the West Wing rooms)

COSMO 234

I would do a priceline "name your own price" bid starting at $75 and going up to $110 max on those dates for a 5* resort. Depending where you select, I think you will win the bid and get the Trump International. REMEMBER: If your bid is selected, you are locked in. No changes or refunds. I would not bid below 5* in Las Vegas on those dates. The Trump is a nice hotel. No smoking and no casino. The dining options are poor, but they have a free shuttle to the Wynn and Caesars.

Have a great visit to Las Vegas!

Friday and Saturday nights are always more expensive - significantly less expensive Sun thru Thursday nights if your dates are flexible. You'll have a great room and visit staying at any of these hotels on your list.

> Cosmo Terrace Studio Fountain View - great location, roomy balcony, kitchenette, view of the Bellagio Fountains, very expensive on your dates - $862 total, including tax & Resort Fee. ouch

> Palazzo Luxury Suite - luxurious one-room suite with sunken living room; huge well-appointed bathroom with his & her sinks, glassed-in shower, big tub, separate water closet, make-up vanity w/velvet bench; biggest standard room on the Strip. Wide variety of restaurants, large bright casino at Venetian with smaller & quieter casino at Palazzo. Much to see & do at V/P. $670 total, including tax and Resort Fee. Our favorite place.

Good luck choosing, and have a nice visit.
