Well, if you read my trip reports you will find that we go to McMullan's Irish Pub, Ping Pang Pong, and/or The Cortez room every trip.

Depends on what kind of food you like, of course. I like Makino Sushi on Decatur Blvd. It's All-You-Can-Eat sushi. And it's high quality. www.makinobuffet.com. I go there often.

A place to try ONCE (not because it's bad but because it's bad for you) is the Heart Attack Grill on Freemont Street. www.heartattackgrill.com

I like The Golden Steer just west (on Sahara) off LV Blvd.; easy to walk to off the Strip.

I will second Lawry's Prime Rib.

Good old school steakhouse vibe.

I have only lunch there, and I kid you not, it was the best lunch I had all year. But then again I love prime rib.

Highly recommended.
