Mirage Tower Suite or Bellagio Fountain View

I have the Bellagio booked for a fountain view room but got an offer for a Mirage one bedroom Tower Suite for the same price. The Tower Suite looks very nice online, much better than a Bellagio standard room.

Should I stick with Bellagio due to the rest of the hotel being much nicer or go with Mirage and the nicer room?

You want us to compare a 510 sq ft room with an 1150 sq ft real suite?

These should not be priced the same. So you either got a great rate for the suite, or a bad rate for Bellagio.

Honestly got an email with $169 mid week for the Mirage suite.

I figured it was a no brainer...

Was more wondering if the overall quality of Bellagio (amenities, casino, restaurants, etc.) made it worth it.

It was a fair question, Bellagio and Mirage are definately different in terms of amendities, restaraunt choices, and everything else. If the room is important and you want the bang for your buck, take the suite at Mirage, but if you don't care too much about the room and would rather enjoy a room overlooking the fountains, a nicer more elegant casino then pick the Bellagio. For gambling I would take the Mirage but its more of a preferential thing.

Make sure that the Mirage offer is for a Tower Suite, as Mirage does have mini-suites. If so $169 is a GREAT rate for that suite.

You will get better service in a suite than in a standard Mirage room, and the ameneties are nicer. So the advantages of the "nicer" Bellagio don't come into play. The casinos are pretty much the same, as both are Mlife properties. Bellagio has a better selection of top-end restaurants, but you don't need to be a hotel guest to enjoy these. If you haven't stayed in a nice Vegas Suite before, you don't realize the different experience it provides. I strongly recommend you take advantage of the opportunity.

For us this would be a no-brainer, but then again I wouldn't pay $169 to stay at Bellagio either.

I've stayed in both. Yes Bellagio is the nicer property, but the Mirage is really nice too. And comparing the tower suite to the room at the Bellagio - isn't even comparable. The tower suite - go for it. The pictures on the web-site are very accurate. There are also some really good you tube videos out there.

Ive never liked the Bellagio other than the view......yeah i know thats something to behold.

Service isnt great. Rooms are not great. Telly(if you need it) isnt great.

If you have the option of a more than twice the size suite in the Mirage, take it.

Awesome, thanks for the advice guys.

The rate was definitely for the Tower Suite, not the Mirage Suite (sorry, made that confusing earlier). So yes, looks like a really good deal. Just booked it.

Thanks!

Have stayed many time in the Tower Suites( we'll be back in September) and only once at the Bellagio in a Salon Suite with a fountain view. The view was great but we like the casino and the atmosphere of the Mirage much better.

I just wish when Wynn was buidling the Mirage, he would added a half bath near the bar.

And speaking of view, another pet peeve of mine is having to look through the LOVE window wrap on the Suite floors. It takes away from what once was a great picture opportunity.

But, the Suite is great. Nothing like getting room service breakfast and having it set up on the full size dining table. Or having a drink while watching the lights come on.

Stayed in the Penthouse which is basically a nicer version of the Tower Suite.

Best deal in Vegas for either of those rooms. Actually used the dining room table for room service, once you do this you will never go back to small resort rooms again.
