Caesars Palace VS the Venetian?

Looking for a great room for my budget. I want to make the most out of my first visit to vegas, I can ethier get the least expensive room at the Venetian The luxury suite. Or get a room at the Palace tower at Caesars. I was looking into the forum tower, but from reviews have scene that the palace tower gets better reviews. Of these two rooms, which would be nicer? This would be for me and my husband

I have stayed at both. The Venetian rooms are nicer. I would pick them for sure.

I like CP and am staying in August. Both times that I booked a Forum Tower room so far, they gave us a Deluxe Palace /Tower room with two bathrooms, so that is nice. They also have Keurigs in the room so if you have K cups at home that is handy.

Still Venetian has a living room and raised bed area, and fantastic bathroom. They have lots of good dining choices too,

with the venetians resort fee being optional I would save $30 total over Caesars for a 2 nights stay. Which is awesome, but I would be willing to pay the extra $30 if the Caesars room is better?

I've never stayed at Caesar's. I really don't understand the room options. It's seems like there's a dozen different towers and lots of differences. Is there a thread someone could point me to with an excellent overview?

Just do a search. There is a thread on CP rooms every other day.

" Caesars Palace VS the Venetian? "

Its not a Prize fight nor is it that simple.

There are a few different types of Palace tower rooms, so before deciding check them out. Caesars is spread out over 6 towers with the newest being Octavius. Caesars wins in almost all departments across the board from variety of restaurants on down to shopping when you factor in the Forum shops. Of course there is no comparison when it comes to pool grounds; the V is not even in the top five.

That said, the V is one of my favorite hotels and you should be very happy there.

I have stayed at both recently, and in every tower at Caesars.

Venetian has bigger rooms and better dining options.

Caesars has a better location, pool, spa, buffet and casino. All rooms except roman tower are excellent. Palace tower is great, right next to the pool. And Caesars rewards its players better.
