Best "cheap" places to eat

We would like to eat at a few top notch restaurants. But as we are in Vegas for a fortnight can't afford to do so daily. Can anyone recommend any "cheap" places to eat? The food must still be good though!! I've heard the Cheesecake Factory and grand lux are good options?

You mentioned Grand Lux ... I couldn't agree more! If you're there during a weekday , go for their happy hour. I'm pretty sure it's 4-7 pm ... They have OUTSTANDING appetizers and delicious cocktails for $5 each! Be sure to get the POTATO SPRING ROLLS! Oh my goodness! There was 4 of us and our total with tip was $100 ... And we had our share of those cocktails ;)

i get tired of eating out so i always buy a cheap styrofoam cooler and buy stuff from a groccery store...crackers, buns, cheese, drinks, fruit...stock it with ice from the hotel - i eat that stuff during the day and then just go out for dinner. also, lunch buffets are cheaper then dinner so you could make that your big meal of the day.

Well, for quality, and large portions, I would say Cheesecake Factory and Grand Lux Cafe are the best on the strip. Just an incredibly large menu of good freshly prepared food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at great prices. If you have a car, check out In N Out Burger on Tropicana Avenue just on the other side of I-15 from the strip. Great cheap burgers and fries here. Yes, its a chain, like McDonalds, but the burgers are outstanding. Get the DoubleDouble. My favorite place for Italian in Vegas: Off the Strip in the Southern Highlands, about 15-20 minute drive from the strip. Excellent, decently priced, large portions. Earl of Sandwich is a must. But, if you really want to do cheap cheap, there is plenty of food courts around, back of Ballys there is plenty of options. Also, if you will be on Fremont Street, I can think of plenty of food court type of quick cheap eats there. There are a couple places that do pizza by the slice for $1.50, and hot dogs, and burgers as well on Fremont Street. If you're staying mid strip, around Ceasars/Flamingo, there is a Denny's, Outback Steakhouse, McDonalds, Chipotle, and I believe a Panda Express all together next to each other. Chipotle is my favorite on the strip for a quick taco or burrito on the go. Chipotle menu everything is between $3 and $7, and made fresh to order. Good, cheap food. Enjoy your trip.

Heres 2 of my favourite places to eat on the cheaper side -

- Outback Steakhouse - there are 2 on the Strip one located across from Mirage the other at coke bottle further along.

- Stripburger- located at fashion show mall next to TI- love this place they have great happy hour 4-7 $2 sliders, $2 fries, $2beers great to watch the world go by with being outside plus having cold misters are great.

All menus are on their websites ;)

Enjoy your trip :)

When I was last in Vegas (2010 ish) we ate at the Buffet in the Luxor and that was lovely. I can't remember exactly how much it is but I do remember thinking at the time how reasonable it was for what you got! I will certainly be paying them a visit in September on my return to LV.
