Best Hotels

Hi,

I am going to Vegas for the 3rd time in June this year travelling from the UK. I have booked the flights but are now just deciding on a hotel. We stayed at Circus Circus last year which was great but I would like to upgrade to a slightly fancier one. Does anyone have any suggestions? What is Aladdin like?

Thanks.

I recommend the Paris Hotel. Check to see if they have any promotions on their website. The location, rooms, casino, restaurants are all great! I have not stayed at the Alladin, but the Desert Passage shopping is really fun and attached to their hotel.

Any hotel is going to be a step up from CC, even tired ole Stardust or Sahara.

it would seem that CC isn't very highly thought of but I must say that i thought it was fine. The rooms were big and clean, our view wasnt that great but we could see the stratosphere.

UKgirl, yes the rooms are clean at CC and fine for sleeping and taking a shower. But once you stay at a place like Bellagio, Venetian, Four Seasons, or Ritz, you will realize a huge difference.

If you liked the Circus Circus atomosphere, try Excalibur. Connected to the Luxor and has a free TRAM to Luxor and Mandalay Bay. Excalibur is not very fancy, but better than Circus Circus and lots of stuff to do and see around there.

You have a wide-open question on fancier. Everyone has their own opinion. Price-wise and since you liked Circus Circus, this would be my opinoin in order: Excalibur, Treasure Island, Monte Carlo. MGM is always throwing out specials if your dates are flexible. Make sure you are on their email list from their website. You can get a room as low as $69.

Thanks,

I am not sure my budget would stretch as far as staying at the Bellagio but i'd love to. I will have a look at your suggestions TI, Monte Carlo, etc. Thanks. Has anyone stayed at Aladdin or Paris?

Paris is nice. Nicer than the ones I mentioned earlier. It is bottom-tier luxury. If you can get a good rate, go for it. I would avoid Alladin as there is lots of construction there.

Hi,

I stayed @ the MC nfor the last two years and I really liked it. No complaints @ all..I would have stayed again this year, but I wanted to try something different. They usually have good rates and different specials if you book online.

Aladdin was nice, I would suggest it. We are staying at the Paris this year to try something new.
