MGM properties - "free daily buffet" promo

*first time to Vegas, so not sure what to expect*

I'm curious about the value of this promotion. The description states: up to 2 complimentary breakfast or lunch buffets daily. Guest have the option to dine at any MGM Resorts International Buffet (excluding Bellagio, New York-New York, Excalibur and The Signature).

Will this really save $25-$40 bucks per day for a couple? Are the buffets gross or good? Thanks.

The most expensive (and best) buffets at other MGM properties would be Mandalay Bay and Aria. I would expect the breakfast buffets would be around $15 and lunch maybe a few dollars more.

We only go to breakfast buffets and found both of them to be pretty good. Mandalay Bay has an absolutely beautiful room in the morning with a lot of natural light.

The only mgm hotel without a buffet is probably NYNY. and I dont think the Signature has a restuarant.. The Bellagio is probably excluded because of the price.

The excalbur buffet has not been known to be a 5 star. I would say its worth more like $34 a couple for breakfast. When you see the price of a glass of OJ at some not so expensive restuarants, the buffet is a better deal.
