Free live music in casinos or hotels - where?

We know about the shows, but where are some lounges that offer live music? Where is the Peppermill that everyone talks about? Anyone have any tips on the best things not to miss at the Monte Carlo - that's where we'll be staying. How's their pool in late April? Thanks.

Not to miss...just check out all the casinos. They all are interesting to check out.

MC pool is solid...late April is usually warm enough at least for sun bathing.

NYNY, Paris & Harrahs all have fun piano bars.

NYNY has a fun Irish pub.

Ballys & Venetian both have great lounge acts. Bellagio does also until late April. Cleopatra's Barge at Caesars also is good (Matt Gross does perform there early a couple nights)

There are several lounges in casino that have live music.

Caesars Cleopatra's Barge & Shadow's

Paris has a lounge with music don't remember the name + Napoleon's that is a dueling piano bar as well.

Harrah's has the dueling piano bar + Toby Keith Bar & Grill & Carnival Court.

The Peppermill is on the Strip north of the Wynn and Encore, before you get to the Riviera. They do not offer live music. It is a funky diner and they also have a lounge that is 70's style - with a fire pit and lots of neon.

Thanks for your responses so far and if anyone has other ideas - lounges where we can just sit and listen to live music, that would be great! Anyone have any must do or see things at the Monte Carlo? We plan to see Frank Caliendo for sure!

There's usually live music in the lounge at the Orleans each night.

I was going to say the Indigo Lounge at the Bally's casino but then I remembered they have a minimum 2-drink policy. Or they did when we were there, at least.

Though not a lounge, Fremont street has two stages under the canopy that have free live music on them every evening.

Always fun, live music @ Fremont Street.

Carnival Court near/@ Harrah's. Don't know if there's a cover - we just usually loiter outside of the bar - it's plenty loud!
