Grand canyon air/ground tour

We are heading off to Las Vegas early March.

I have been looking into grand canyon tours from Las Vegas - something that has air and land incorporated. I am looking at south rim one from the grand canyon tour company. Has anyone been on this one or can anyone recommend a tour ?

Hi there - I'm from London and just back from my first ever visit to Vegas. We went to the Grand Canyon with Papillion helicopters and had a really good time. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel and all in all were in the helicopter for just under two hours. We landed in the Canyon [sorry don't know which part] for about 25 mins. We were on the 8 a.m. ride and there were only 5 of us [inc. pilot] so we all had a good view. Don't know if we are allowed to give out personal e-mail addresses on this site but if you want any more info let me know via forum.

Depends on what you like - I was with my sister so shopping was high on the list!!! so we visited a couple of outlet malls. We stayed at the Bellagio which was really fab and the fountain shows were fantastic. Be prepared to walk alot although the Deuce buses {$2 a ride and $1 OAP] which run along the strip were frequent. Canyon helicopter trip takes you over hoover dam but you might want to take a full tour there if the mechanics of it interests you. If you want to give me your e-mail address [hope its allowed] it might be easier to communicate!!!

Hi Snoddy,

I've set up an email at lasvegastrip@hotmail.co.uk

Any info you have on casinos that are worth a look, or shows, restaurants, shops etc etc would be great.
