How would you improve Vegas?

The whole world seems to be a holiday destination these days and every destination is looking to entice new and repeat visitors.

What changes would you like to see in Vegas in order to make it better and to keep you coming back?

It could be a new hotel, shopping mall. Maybe getting rid of the porn slappers?

All suggestions are welcome.

For me personally, it would be a new rapid transit system. Whether that is a new underground metro system or an over ground monorail. Either would suit me, but, and it’s a big but, it has to be directly above or below Las Vegas Boulevard.

Obviously, this isn’t going to happen in the middle of a recession, but Vegas is going to be around for quite a while yet..................I hope.

Cheers

I would like to see the monorail be made more useful. If it ever was extended to run from the airport to Downtown, it would get alot more use and be a great compliment to the Deuce/Goldline buses.

as an old person, I remember the 99 cent buffets....

I lose enough money for those to return and give them a profit.... also give me better comps.... I expect a Wynn Villa for my $200 in losses, Lmaooo

or did you want real ones? lol

If City Center HAD to be built, I would never have given them an access road directly onto LV Blvd without insuring there was a walkway directly over said access road. How they got away with having the sidewalk farm you into the mall I will never know.

Thats a great idea monorail from the airport to the strip. I would just like to see it go back to being affordable for everyone as far as eatting goes . cause even the cheaper places are still higher. :).

I could write a book on how to improve the city of Las Vegas, but since you only want ideas on how to improve the tourist experience here are a couple:

-Extend the monorail to McCarran to the South and Downtown to the North.

-Get the tourists off of the sidewalks where cars are trying to enter and exit, maybe an elevated walkway on both sides of the Strip that are connected to the existing bridges that take the pedestrians over the strip.

I think the monorail from the airport might effect cabbies.

I dont think it would if it were on the strip as some people wont use public transport no matter what.

Some great ideas already.

Low, not olden......................Golden!

The elimination of 6/5 Blackjack! That's something that I would like changed.

The $500 bottles of vodka at clubs as well.. Im not really a big fan of the the rain to the strip.

Im all about jobs... Taxi Drivers need to make a living.. If we get a better monorail system, all we're doing is feeding more money to the city/government while eliminating jobs.

Remove all traffic from the strip and pedestrianise it. Say from the MGM up to the Sahara.
