Nice laid back bar/lounge?

Visiting with my wife 5/18-21. Staying at the Wynn. I would like to find a nice, laid back bar/lounge/club to have a drink. A place that caters to the 35-50 type crowd. Something with some good music or great views would be nice as well.

Any recommendations?

Right there at the Wynn, Parasol Up/Parasol Down has been said to be an enjoyable lounge. Fontana Bar @ Bellagio has excellent views of the famous fountains. Also consider La Scena @ Venetian and Indigo Lounge @ Bally's.

Really, most any Strip casino with a lounge will cater to "your" (and my) crowd, Mandalay Bay perhaps being one exception.

Peppermill's Fireside Lounge probably the most laid back and old Las Vegas you will find.

Fontana is also great at times.

Parasol up at Wynn I wouldn't call a lounge at all

Cleo's barge at Caesars is great but not laid back its a jumping lounge at times.

Sorry to hijack this thread but are any of these lounges suitable for my folks (mid 60's) to share a slow dance or two? They're going to renew their vows next week and are looking for a nice lounge for after the ceremony. Thanks.

We had a few drinks at the Petrossian at Bellagio - nice quiet atmosphere - live piano music in the background, adult crowd. Nice place you can actually hear the conversation above the music.

I would also recommend the Fireside Lounge at the Peppermill. It is unique in Vegas-very retro/funky. It is right near the Riviera.

Someone mentioned a band at the Gold Coast playing standards, I would like to know more about this.

I just got back from Las Vegas this morning. I had a great time on Sunday on the outdoor terrace of Trader Vic's at Planet Hollywood. The terrace overlooks the strip and faces the Bellagio fountain. The DJ was great and the atmosphere was very relaxed and upbeat.

I like the V Bar inside Venetian. Older crowd, fun music, but its a great ultra lounge. Check out some other Ultra lounges on vegasmadeeasy.com/nightlife/night-clubs

Been reading some good things about Salute at Palazzo. Planing to check it out next week.

Fontana has fountain view and good music.
