Hi, are there any Catholic churches close to the Sahara Hotel?

Thanks in advance.

http://www.lasvegas-diocese.org/ Has a listing of Mass times.

I think the Cathedral, between Riviera and Wynn hotels would be the easiest for a visitor to get to.

If you are that Sahara, I agree with VegaqsMan, the Cathedal (Guardian Angel Cathedral) is probably the closest. Simply drive down the Strip, and across from the Stardust, you will see the street "Cathedral Way". Obviously, this leads you to the Cathedal.

They hold weekend Mass as follows: Saturday: 12:10 pm, (Vigil) 2:30 pm, 4 pm, 5:30 pm; Sunday: 8am, 9:30 am, 11 am, 12:30 pm, 5 pm.

On the south end of the Strip is the Shrine Of The Most Holy Redeemer. This is located on Reno Ave, across from the Luxor. They hold weekend Mass: Saturday: (Vigil) 4 pm;

Sunday: 8 am, 10 am, Noon. Bishop Pepe presides at the Sunday noon Mass relatively frequently.

There's a church in back of the Tropicana Hotel and it's very nice. It's called the Shrine of the Holy Redeemer or something close to that name. It's beautiful, parishioners or travelers are very nice and the music is good too. Don't miss it. Go to vegas.com website and look for churches.

You could cut out the middle man and hang out on the corner near Ballys where there's almost always a real live priest taking donations from guilt ridden passersby.

Of course, if you look closely you can see the rental agreement for his costume in his back pocket......
