trip report from Riviera

It was wonderful! stayed 6-5 t0 My God i'm so brain dead I don't know what today is! We came home saturday this past weekend.

The Riv is great, we stayed in Monaco tower, fifth floor, very clean very nice, but we only sleep and change clothes there, if you stay in your room 24/7 then go for the fancy Wynn rooms- we were out having too much fun !

Besides all the gambling, we rented a car for a trip to Red Rock absolutely stunning !

My husband had the midas touch and brought in about 2 grand, i was lucky to bring home two hundred but we had one of our best times there.

Eating at Kristofersons for prime rib was our best meal otherwise we did the cafe's and buffets.

THink about the Riv for good comps- we missed our red eye flight and thankfuly america west put us on for the next flight the next night(no extra charge) and the Riviera comped our room, so we ended up with an extra night in Vegas ! Elvis sang for us daily in the casino-what more could you ask for?

Walked most of the strip, stratosphere is my favorite for variety and plenty of room to move. yes, Wynn was lovely to see but cant see spending all that money on a room!

lots more happened but i'm at work and wanted to get something written in. to all those goiong soon, you'll have a great trip if you make it happen!

Aruba,

So sorry to hear you are back at work, guess that means you didn't hit it really big. Glad to hear you had good luck though. What did you play and where to win? We always stay at the Riv and love it. 80 days to go and counting.

What are their blackjack minimums at the Riv, and do they pay 3/2 on naturals? How is the pool area?

Buckeye (fellow Ohioan) No, not enough money to quit work , but the lights the excitement of Vegas makes for a great vacation. Husband's biggest wins were on blazing 7's,(3 double signs across)for about 1500,hit good on triple blazing 7's as well and some smaller ones for a few hundred. I had a couple good ones, one of which was the one where if you get a dollar bill sign you go to the top of the board where you get choices of money amounts up to 4 times, it might be called top dollar.

Have yourself a great time as you do your countdown, it finaly gets here before you know it !

Not to with it on table games, zipitis, BJ might of had minimum tables of 5 dollars during the day, we did our cheap table gaming at casino royal.

Gosh what a great fantasy life it was ! looking forward to going again in a few mths, riviera sends out great deals all the time.

Forgot to mention all of our good wins were at Riviera where we did play the most, but we gambled at the Strat, Wynn(good comfy seats) Frontier, Stardust and Venetian.
