Luxor or Linq?

Luxor or Linq?

We're going in October for our 20th wedding anniversary--and neither of us have ever been. Right now I have reservations at both the Luxor and Linq. Which would you choose? Keep in mind that this is very much a budget vaca and Bellagio and the like are simply out of the question. We don't need fancy, we just need clean and not (too) crazy. Thoughts?

I personally love Luxor. If it was just between hotels then id go for Luxor every day. Now if location matters then probably Linq.

I would also say Linq as it's central but then I've never stayed at either, only played in their casinos. Both I would be fine with staying at, but I prefer central strip.

Linq. More central. Close to Bellagio, Caesars, mirage, etc.

Luxor a little more kid orientated.

Luxor is South Strip. Linq is Center Strip. OP: Have you looked at Bally's?

CET (Caesars Entertainment) is almost giving away rooms at this time if you are a member of Total Rewards (less taxes and Resort Fees). It depends on your dates. Look into that and book direst with the hotel.

I'd pick Luxor of those two, for your ages/purposes but I've never stayed at the linq - just basing this on its public areas/reputation. I think you'd be pleased with a tower room at the Luxor. As others have mentioned, though, i'd explore your options - there are plenty on a budget. Look at Paris, NYNY, Mirage, and Bally's (which has been very recently renovated).

Linq for me on a budget trip. So close to other hotels and facilities.

Stayed Linq last December and was pleasantly surprised. The base rooms are newer than Luxor. Excellent location, especially for 1st visit. However, if the pool is a priority Luxor wins. If you choose Luxor, go for a premium room as they have been updated.

As others have suggested, give Bally's a look. The rooms are bigger and recently redone. You also get access to Paris, including its pool. Gary mentioned Total Rewards. Sign into totalrewards.com using your member number and then check rates. It's free to join, you can do that here. >> https://www.totalrewards.com/Program/
