Skill Based Games

Does anyone know which casinos have the new skill based games? I read that Planet Hollywood does. Are there any other locations? Also, do you win money like a slot machine?

Not sure what you’re referring to — but you can always play poker if you’re looking for a game if skill. You play against other players, and not the house. Great game. Several casinos have card rooms, and you can find these with the Bravo Poker app.

These are designed like video games or the kind of games you'd play on your phone. Supposedly they are being introduced in some casinos.

Saw them at PH, Harrah's, and the Linq. I am not that good at skill based games and lose enough on regular slots so didn't even try on the strip! I did try the night we were at Green Valley but wasn't good at it (there was a farm themed one I tried)

They are sit down, in a circle, and I think 3 machines in the circle. I saw a couple people playing them but not doing well. I know they were different denoms and penny was an option, so you could start low to see if you were interested.

Anyway there are 4 (I think) games in each machine, so you can try several games. I was just not comfortable with them again, because I am not good at those types of games.

Stick to Craps, Blackjack or Poker, otherwise the odds are garbage.

We played one at planet Hollywood in March, it was basically a word scramble type game.we didnt win anything big and not even sure if there are bonus games etc. Was fun to try but don't see myself playing one again.

Bally's has a bunch of them in the back by BLT Steak. I played them a while and found them very frustrating and not very enjoyable. The scrabble/word based one can be fun if there are two of you sharing the seat, but other than that, I will not be going back to the current ones offered.

I haven't seen them in Vegas (though I wasn't looking for them) but they were at the CET hotels in AC last year and did not do very well, I'm not sure if they are even still in the casinos. They were unveiled with fan fare and then nothing came of them.
