I need a hotel a 20 year old can check in to.

Hi, im 20 years old and will be doing a bit of traveling around the US on a budget.

I'v been to Vegas before i couple of years ago and loved it. I understand i still wont be able to gamble/drink etc but that doesn't bothere me.

Im trying to find a cheap hotel on the strip that allows people under 21 to check in. i will be on my own, so won't have an older traveler to check in for me.

The travel lodge on the south end of the strip looks to meet my needs. somewhere basic near everything. Will i be able to check in here at 20 years ols?

Any other recomendations?

Thanks

I am not sure if this is the correct answer, but I am sure if I am wrong, someone here will correct me.

You can not check -in in any hotel that has a casino, so your only choices are motels such as travel lodge.

However, I never stayed in any motel in vegas, so can't recommend one.

There is a Holiday Inn Express at 5760 Polaris Ave -just off the strip not far from Mandalay Bay. It has received good reviews and I think it also has a shuttle to the strip. Another plus is they have a fairly good free breakfast. Hope this helps.

That post has information on hotels you can check into. It looks like Tropicana and Riviera were the strip hotels that allow it. I don't know about the Travelodge specifically. Your best bet is to call or e-mail, but they most likely would accept you.

I looked on Vegas.com and came up with the LV Hilton and Hooters that allow 18 year olds to check in addtion to the mentioned Riveria and Tropicana. Both are off the strip, the Hilton is on a monorail stop and Hooters is right behind the Tropicana and not a bad location. I would take others advice and call to make sure.

I emailed my host when my 19 yr old was staying in Vegas for one night and needed a recommendatioin for a place he could check into. He told me that you had to be 18 to check in. So, I would just call, because I was told previously that she has to be 21 also.
