You might also want to check out the Hyatt High Sierra Lodge on the Hyatt property for casual luxury on the north shore. They have two bedrooms also, with complete living/kitchen facilities and are more spacious than their lakeside cottages. We just came back from there. You can stay a week or split it in half.
They also have a fire pit next to their swimming pool, and the S' mores packages and long forks are at the lobby for guests, or you can use the other two pits on the property.
The water activity desk at the lake has boats, kayaks and you can take the Sierra Cloud Catamaran out for a two hour ride, which are offered several times a day.

Across the street from the High Sierra are a number of nice restaurants on Country Club Dr. where you can sit out in the Pine Trees: Austin's, Red Tomaato's, La Fondue, Chinese take out, Le Bistro. Up the street is Big Water Grille.
Incline Village is absolutely pristine and uncrowded this year.
