Activities for 80-100 Brazilian high school students?

In August 2014 we will be taking a group of "study abroad" high school students from Brazil around Omaha and the rest of Nebraska as well as Iowa. We take one day trip somewhere a little "further" outside Omaha. Does anyone know of good events (educational or just exciting!) for high schoolers that we could go see for a day trip?

Thank you!

In Lincoln, you could take them for a free tour of the capital building, NE State Historical Museum can be toured for a donation, watch ice cream being made and then buy a cone or ice cream at the dairy building on UNL's east campus. They could see the few buffalo and elk at Pioneers Park on the south side of Lincoln. It would be advisable to give advance notice so they could be expecting this many people at each of the above places, except Pioneer's Park. I think they only make ice cream on certain days so maybe you could make sure you go on one of those days. The BRAND NEW Pinnacle Bank Arena gives free tours, but again give advance notice. Make sure they have a Runza before they leave NE. Mahoney State Park has horse back riding, paddle boats, trails, outdoor swimming pool, disc golf, miniature golf for someplace to let off some energy.
