wildlife around libby and eureka

we will be there june 15,16 and 17 and wanted to know if there is good wildlife viewing anywhere and places to get good scenic photos. thanks for any answers

Wildlife and scenic photo opportunities abound throughout the Libby and Eureka area. Be especially careful driving in the early morning and the evening. You will need to keep a close watch at the sides of the road for deer, as they can heavily inhabit some areas. If you see one leap out, look for the others that are sure to follow. Mixing one in with the front of your car is not an experience you want!

If you can, venture over to Coram, just west of Glacier National Park, and visit the Great Bear Adventure, "where your car is your cage". You will be able to safely see grizzlies and black bears within a 24 acre natural enclosure. Very humane situation for these bears, some of whom have been "rescued" from zoo enclosures.
