Branson on a budget

We are taking our two boys to Branson over spring break. We would like to find a cheap motel that is clean. We do not need all the extra aminities or a fancy room, but having a clean room is a must. Any suggestion? Also where is the best place to buy show tickets?

Don't know the ages of your boys, but our 4 yr old and 12 yr old grandsons love staying at Grand Country Inn. They have an indoor water park with lots of fun things for the kids. You can get a room for under $80 that includes admission to the waterpark. We have stayed at this property 3 different times and have always been satisfied. They have an arcade room, minature golf, a pizza buffet and a restaurant/buffet all on the property. Also have a theater with about 4 different live shows, sometimes tickets are included with the room!

Last year we also stayed at the Ramada Inn Limited, the Classic Motor Motel, and Scenic Hills Inn, all located on Shepherd of the Hills Expressway. Rooms were approximately $50/night and we had no complaints. Continental breakfasts were the standard cereal, toast, donuts (?), coffee, juice, milk. Rooms at all these locations were clean.

Just read a post from people who had been to Branson this week and bought tickets from a company called "Branson 2-for-1 Tickets" They are located across from the Titanic Attraction on Hwy 76. Said they have over 50 shows, and the ticket prices are 2-for-1. I have not personally used this company, but sounds like it is worth a try. Don't think they have tickets to all shows!

The Branson 2 for 1 place also has Hotels 2 nights for the price of 1. We just came back from Branson. We got 2 nights at 7 Gables for $70. They will have next week the Hideaway at Lodge of the Ozarks Hotel 2 nights for $49.00. It is clean and has indoor pool too. I saw the info when I was there getting 2 for 1 show tickets. Guess they will have food there too at 2 for price of 1. This 2 for 1 place is a must stop for us. Best thing to ever hit Branson.
