I hear many say, "the penney machines do not pay off as much as the old standard slots". Let me tell you what happened at Gold Strike about two weeks ago. It was late in the evening, just before I planned to quit for the day. My wife was off playing video poker and we were planning to meet back in the room at no certain time, whenever our fingers were sore and arms tired. I inserted my last $20 in a penney machine, I don't even recall the name of it, along the wall by the rest rooms. I played 60 cents playing all the lines. and was down to maybe $10 when "bam", the machine locked up said "attendant on the way". On the screen it said $1800.00 dollars or 180,000 pennies. This was a hand pay and other players could not believe you could win that much, especially playing only 60 cents. Boy, what a fun time that trip was, even if I have an IRS tax form to file with taxes nest year!
