Just caught word that Michigan's Adventure will be receiving the relocated THUNDERHAWK steel suspended rollercoaster from Geauga Lake Park in OH. It's supposed to be going in near the Grand Rapids river raft attraction in a new "Mackinac Trail" area that will complete the loop around Jourden Lagoon behind Wolverine Wildcat (connecting the Grand Rapids area with the Shivering Timbers area).
I've also heard word about an integrated camp grounds like at its sister park - Cedar Point - as well as onsite hotl accommodations.
Is this the beginning of MIA finally transforming into a world-class attraction for Muskegon specifically and all of Metro Grand Rapids in general? Share what you think . . . .
