Airport transfers

Hi,

We are arriving in Detroit from Australia on March 29. Our flight arrives around 9pm and we are staying at the Inn on Ferry.

Can someone please tell me how the best way is to get from the Airport to the Inn at that time of the night.

Thanks

1. Re: Airport transfers

If you are not renting a car, a taxi or metro car (upscale taxi) are your only real options.

A rental car is the best option in Detroit. Our public transportation is bad to non-existent.

Thanks Tev9999,

We are only there until the Monday until we jump on the train, so we thought it's not really worth hiring a car. We have Saturday planned with a one on one 6 hour tour, so Sunday we thought we would do motown ( inn on ferry shuttle will take us there) and use the people mover.

In that case the taxi is the way to go. The Metro Car is just a nicer car (Lincoln Town Car). You can also pay a little extra to have the driver meet you in baggage claim. That you will need to arrange in advance through the link on the DTW webpage.
