Rafting on "non-guarantee" days

Crab Apple and Zoar offer rafting on weekdays at the end of August when the damn opening (and hence the whitewater current) is not guaranteed. How likely is the damn opening?

They post flow rate information here. http://www.h2oline.com/255123.asp

On the same site you may want to contact the 800 number for boaters to get a better idea of future openings.

Thank you for the information. The website and 800 number only provide information the evening prior to a morning damn release. I am trying to determine the probability of a damn release several days in advance for a "non-guarantee" day. How likely is the damn opening on non-guarantee days? Thank you.

I am sure you could call both places and ask them directly. (damn those dams!)

Thanks for the advice. Darn! - I just realized that I misspelled "dam". Sorry about that.
