Stop w/kids between CT and OCMD?

We would like to break up the drive, as well as extend our vacation a bit. Can anyone suggest a good spot to stop between CT and OCMD with an infant and 3 year old. Maybe with some type of attraction.

Coney Island or Wildwood if you want boardwalk fun.

Henlopen State Park has an amazing tour of the underground WW2 bunkers, and the history of those bunkers, and preparation for the invasion of the Nazi warships with longer-range howitzers is fascinating.

It depends which way you are going, there are plenty of attractions along the way, there is the zoo in philly, the aquarium in camden, Tere are park, amusements no matter which way you go it all depends on your route.

I think the previous poster offered some great suggestions if you wanted to take 95 down, stopping at the Zoo or Please Touch museum in Philly would be great for both kids. The Aquarium in Camden, NJ is a nice stop as well.

If you take the parkway through Nj and plan to take the ferry over, I'd suggest the Cape May Zoo. It's a great smaller zoo that's lovely and is attached to a great park that is perfect to get the energy out of the kiddos.
