Embers or Bonfire buffet?

Yes, we know about the delicious crab legs from Embers and 2 out of 5 of us love crab legs.. but the other 3 don't. We've never been to Bonfire. Our family is "okay" with seafood, but prefer family-comfort-type food (meatloaf, beef, ham, taters, shrimp, etc). We;ll also have an infant with us, so family friendly is a must. Thank you for your opinions.

Embers and Bonfire serve pretty much the same menu. Both have the crab legs and seafood, but both also have prime rib, roast beef, ham, fried chicken, pastas, even some Chinese and pizza. Both have great salad bars and different salads , soups, and sides, and both offer desserts and ice cream. Bonfire makes their own doughnuts and they're so good.

Both also cost the same, around $40 per person.

So really, you can't go wrong either place.

Embers or Horizon is what I would suggest.

You might enjoy Waterman's on Rte. 50. They are not a buffet, but have everything you could want on their menu. Plus they have AYCE fried chicken, crabs, and much more. Some of their menu items they'll just bring to your table and dump it in the middle! Very good.

We prefer Bonfire. We never leave OC without visiting at least once (sometimes twice) each stay. We love the crab legs there, prime rib, mussels are amazing. There's something for everyone. The hot donuts are sinful!

We always go to Bonfire once or twice on each visit to OC. Crab legs, spiced shrimp and prime rib are great and the rest of the buffet has a little of everything for the kids. Kid friendly.
