We will be returning to Lisbon in October. We are planning to spend a couple of days in Sesimbra before returning to Lisbon. We have never done Sintra before but greatly enjoyed a Queluz side trip during our visit in April. We know how to do the train without any problems.
I am trying to make plans. Do I need to plan two days or one in Sintra using Lisbon as our hub? I hate to rush things. I am hopeful that the weather will not be that hot. Darling Hubby, tires easily when it is hot. We are both avid walker and find the Chiado the perfect place to stay even with all the hills.
I am just unsure if we will feel comfortable just taking one day to enjoy all the sites of Sintra. I much rather plan for two days IF you think that it is warranted. I much prefer quality time than rushed time. We have three days and this is our fourth trip to Portugal. Our goals are to enjoy and not feel like we have to achieve everything on this trip. We intend to return to Portugal many times as it has become one of favorite destinations in Europe,
