How do I get to O'Hare Airport from Des Plaines I would prefer the train?

Google Maps can give you point to point directions, click on the "train" icon for public transportation options.

There isn't a train option from Des Plaines to O'Hare, best you can do is catch a Pace bus (suburban bus) to the Rosemont CTA Blue Line stop and catch the Blue Line for a couple stops into O'Hare.

Des Plaines is not far from O'Hare at all, there are a variety of taxis (American Taxi, Flash Cab, etc) that are flat rate to O'Hare. Would be much faster (e.g. 15 mins vs. 1 hour) than public transit.

Where in Des Plaines? Do you have an address or cross-streets?

At least one Pace route, 250, goes to the O’Hare kiss and fly, but without knowing where you are in Des Plaines, you need to do as suggested and use google. You can also check the Pace website for a list of routes that serve O’Hare either directly or via the Blue Line.

Taxi or Uber. Definitely not public transit.
