River North is within walking distance of Lincoln Park... or a quick bus ride. You'll find a greater variety of options in River North.

Saw the Days Inn listed with varying reviews, any personal opinions on it?

The Days Inn Chicago is a 2* hotel. You have to take some (or many) these reviews with a grain of salt. Some people expect 4* accommodations at 2* prices.

I have stayed there myself several times with very good results - no problems and no complaints.

Hotel Lincoln is pretty good, rooms have been redone and location is great.

Well, just checked out both hotels, neither one is available - one sold out, the other requires two night minimum, which would be a waste since I can only stay Saturday night. Any suggestions on location in River North area that will be easily accessible to start of run - Diversey/Fullerton Pkwy and Lake Shore Drive?

I will, of course, check the sites you listed, just wondering if you have any personal preferences. Thanks!

It's a very nice B&B type. Why are you focused on Lincoln Park? The hotels are downtown.

My wife and I stayed at the Willows for one night last November.

Great location - Great Rate....

Old Hotel in a residential area on the border of Lakeview & Lincoln Park...

Very close to the Zoo, Lake etc...

The Hotel is old. The rooms are large & clean.

Free parking if needed....
