Connection time at ORD

Flying in from Las Vegas with a 1 hour connection time before flying back to London. Both incoming and outgoing are Terminal 1, but is short timescale achievable? Thanks.

As long as there are no delays, you should be fine.

Have a great trip!

It will be fine as long as the incoming flight is not late. Just keep on mind a 45 minute delay, which is pretty realistic, will cause you to miss an international connection and quite likely be stuck overnight.

It's a pretty tight connection and realistically speaking you have less than 1 hour. When your plane lands in ORD, it can take several minutes while your plane is taxiing to the gate, and then another several minutes for you to deplane (try to get sit as front as possible). ORD is always so busy that it is not uncommon that a plane has to wait a few minutes for an available gate. And you need to be at the gate for your next flight at least 15 minutes before departure time. Departure time is when the plane gets pushed back from the gate, so boarding ends sometime before. So in reality really you have less than an 1 hour, and this is even if your flight is not delayed coming in from Vegas. Given all these factors, it is risky with this connection time.

If possible, I suggest you get onto an earlier flight into ORD especially when you are connecting to an international flight and it's not like there's a flight every hour or so from ORD to LHR so you won't be easily put onto a next flight out on the same day if you missed your original flight.
