Sunday afternoon White Sox game

Heading to the June 9 game. Are there any good brunch spots around the stadium to eat at before the game?

In the immediate area of the ballpark - no.

Chinatown would be a good option before or after the game - http://www.chicagochinatown.org/?page_id=418

Don't forget about the CTA red line closure - transitchicago.com/news_initiatives/projects…

There is almost nothing right by the stadium but parking lots and train tracks. Eat in Chinatown or downtown and then go to the game

Here are the instructions on how to get to the park on public transport, it appears that the red line trains will continue running on the green line tracks or you can just take the green line, the green line station is just a couple of blocks more to walk

If you don't want to do Chinatown, you could stop and get brunch near the Roosevelt stop at Bongo Room on Wabash and jump on the green line train there. Since the 9th is a Sunday, there will likely be a wait so budget at least 30-40 minutes for that.

The Bacardi Club at the ballpark opens about 3-4 hours before the game. Food is handled by Gibson's but don't think they do brunch. It's a two-level sports bar on the north side of 35th.

In order to get to Chinatown during the Red Line construction you need to take a shuttle bus from the Roosevelt Rd stop so finding something near Roosevelt might be easier.
